I can't grasp why I enjoy Young's poems as much as I do. There appears to be two levels of enjoyment. When I first read one of his poems, I enjoy it, but after I've moved on, I realize there was something more there and have to read it again. I enjoyed the brevity of the selections and yet the thought provoking emotion.
I am encouraged to read more of John's work.
